Retail Operations Associate

GREEN LINE APOTHECARY is adding a Retail Operations Associate to its team to help drive front store and e-commerce sales. We are seeking a well-organized, hard-working and trend-savvy professional to assist with in-store and e-commerce retail operations including buying, merchandising, order fulfillment, and customer service. Retail Operations Associate responsibilities:
- Assist Buying & Merchandising Director with managing non-prescription retail inventory at all Green Line Apothecary e-commerce and store locations
- Accurately input and update inventory in computer-based system daily
- Merchandise products and maintain shelves - fronting, cleaning and filling
- Receive new orders, unbox, tag and enter items into inventory
- Process returns of products to vendors
- Identify trends, seasonality, and business objectives to curate product selection consistent with Green Line Apothecary brand identity
- Develop an expertise in health, wellness, and beauty trends - with a focus on natural products
- Help educate company staff regarding new products, industry trends, and retail goals
- Assist in cultivating new product assortments by meeting prospective vendors, analyzing industry trends, and researching social media
- Collaborate with pharmacy and fountain staffs to ensure smooth retail operations
E-commerce
- Provide e-commerce customer service - responding to emails, communicating to customers about order-related matters, and ensuring order fulfillment
- Fulfill e-commerce orders by picking, packing and shipping items
- Maintain e-commerce inventory and product listings - ensuring accuracy of quantities, descriptions and pricing
- Collaborate with marketing team to deliver e-commerce promotional tactics
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of retail operations, buying, merchandising or similar experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge of health, beauty, wellness trends and products preferred
- Knowledge of natural/organic, homeopathic, and herbal product categories preferred
- Computer proficiency including google platform (sheets, docs, etc)
- Ability to travel between Wakefield RI and Providence RI locations
- Ability to work on feet for extended periods and carry 25 lbs
Schedule:
- Full-time schedule requiring some weekend and evening availability
- Position located in both Wakefield and Providence RI
Compensation:
- Competitive salary commensurate upon qualifications and experience
- Pay range: $30,000 - $45,000 annual salary
