Facilities Manager
WAKEFIELD, RI
GREEN LINE APOTHECARY is hiring a Facilities Manager to maintain its Rhode Island properties and equipment. We are seeking a knowledgeable, technical, and hard-working maintenance expert to manage buildings in Wakefield and Providence. The ideal candidate will be well-organized and able to optimize the use of space and equipment while reducing operating costs.
Facilities Manager Responsibilities:
- Ensure a clean, safe and efficient work environment for customers, patients and staff at Wakefield and Providence RI facilities
- Regularly deep clean company buildings including bathrooms and food service areas
- Manage the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards, including maintaining restaurant equipment and refrigeration
- Provide periodic handyman services to repair equipment and other company property
- Maintain building exteriors including landscaping (weeding, mulching, planting), trash removal (emptying trash cans), power washing, leaf cleanup, etc
- Operate company-provided snow blower during winter months
- Coordinate subcontractors and other trades for service repairs
- Maintain information technology (IT) systems such as installing new computers and phones, and troubleshooting issues with service providers
- Transport company supplies between locations using company vehicle
- Constantly inspect all company buildings and property to assess need for repairs and cleaning
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as facilities manager or other relevant position
- Well-versed in technical/engineering operations and facilities management best practices
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in refrigeration and restaurant equipment maintenance preferred
- Skilled with basic tools (drill, screw gun, etc)
- Knowledgeable about information technology (IT)
- Ability to work on feet for long periods and lift heavy objects (50+lbs)
- Ability to work at both Wakefield RI and Providence RI locations
- Valid driver's license with good driving record
Schedule:
- Estimated 20 - 40 hours per week schedule, flexibly scheduled. On-call availability seven days a week during business' operating hours (M-Su 8:30am-8pm)
- Responsibilities to vary between Providence RI and Wakefield RI locations
Compensation:
- $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
